Wayne Shaw Introduced
as Prayer Chairman!
Wayne Shaw was born and raised on a Nebraska farm. He and his wife of 40 years, Anna Louise have three children and four grandchildren.
Wayne earned his bachelor’s degree in math and history from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, his master’s degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, IL and his doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary from Pasadena, CA. He also studied one summer at The American Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem, Israel.
In the early 70’s Wayne and Anna served as missionaries in Liberia W. Africa. They were unable to return due to health reasons. For the last 10 years, Wayne has been the senior minister of First Christian Church in Grove, OK. While Wayne officiates football, serves on the board for CASA, is a volunteer chaplain to the police department and served for three consecutive years as president of the Ministerial Alliance the one thing he is most excited about is the fact he has been used of God to bring the Christian community in Grove together to pray. He organized and lead several concerts of prayer where all Christians come together to pray for their churches, city, country and leaders.
