Jim Chamberlin is
on the job!
Jim has moved to the Hazelwood (southwest Indianapolis) area on July 2nd. He will begin to learn and assume the responsibilities of working the Windows program. His wife, Amy, is a nurse at St. Vincent's in Indianapolis, and their four children are getting geared up for the school year in a new school. Pray for the Chamberlins as they join our team!

New Staff Support Fund Campaign Started!
Last fall, David Empson, current teen director and next director of the NMC began to lay the groundwork for securing funds for the transition. The annual budget of the NMC cannot pay for two staffs. Jim starts in June of 2007, while the next new staff member starts in the fall of 2008. The goal is for the new Indiana staff to operate the Peoria '09 convention.
According to our figures, if there were 100 churches or individuals who would support the NMC by giving $100 a month for 3 years, or $1000 a year for 3 years, there would be enough funds to begin and operate the Indiana office without affecting the annual budget. We have received about $10,000 in one time gifts, and "30" churches or individuals who are giving money either monthly or annually.
Please pray for this transition. David & Jim are both available to speak to speak for your church and share what's happening with the ministry of the NMC. They would love a chance to share, and they can even preach to your congregation...
